The SeaGoat | Capricorn Season 2025–26
The Sun’s ingress into Capricorn marks the winter solstice — the point at which lightness begins to increase minute-by-minute, day-over-day, and takes over darkness. “Solstice” marks the point when the “Sun” “stands still,” a three-day period of transition, of holding space within, a pilgrimage into the deep longing of the soul.
This pause, a recognition of purpose and recalibration, representative of the battle for life overcoming the cyclical forces of death. The Sun endures the scythe of Saturn, beginning its steady climb, offering hope and renewal for the days ahead. From here, the Sun emerges, adding two minutes of daylight daily.
Capricorn is the yin, cardinal, earth temple of Saturn and exaltation of Mars. The Moon and Jupiter struggle to bring about their most nurturing and generous qualities in Capricorn, because the planets of fertility and abundance are restricted in the sign of deep winter.
